We had our 1st local meeting for the GPPA today. I'm probably going to be a team captain.

No one interested here. They came and did a meeting (don't think it was Mike but could have been) few people showed up but no one is interested in getting in the league. I think there are probably too many leagues here now. Most people already play 3/4 nights a week in some sort of league. Its a shame because I wanted to try it. You'll have to post your experiences when you get into it. Its a shame because most people here will play in a league that if your team wins you get about 100 a person or so instead of trying something new with chances for some good money. Oh well it is what it is..
If this thing was taking off or looking like it was going to take off there would be all sorts of posts on here and more press releases. I know Mike put in a lot of time, but it just goes to show you, you need more than just dangle a bunch of money that you might get. JT
