Depends who you ask. Daz and Johnny have publically said in the last 24 hours that it still has a decent pulse.
Others, insiders?, say there's a fork in it. It's a mystery still IMO. I'm convinced "people" are still working it. FWIW

I hope it's dead..... we just don't need another big idea to scam the players.... This is another example of something that ultimately hurts pool more that it would ever help.
Now.... city or regional 9 ball or 8 ball teams might have made it............ Who is your audience??? With no one playing BB, no one is interested. There are a quarter million players in the APA league alone.... There have to several million payers in all.... What do they play?? It's not BB.... they play 8 ball and 9 ball......... I would watch and yell for my local team of pros if they were playing something that I am doing myself........... Set up the matches in cities around the country so everyone gets a chance to go to see a match, just like pro sports........ Everyone isn't going to travel to Vegas to watch and practically no one will PPV on TV..... dumb idea!!
but no alternating partner shooting.......... it sucks.. everyone likes to see a pro make a plan and run the table. No one likes to see a pro make a nice shot and then sit down while his partner takes over.. There is no flow to that format.... it's too choppy and people lose their attention. Besides that, a new person tuning in wouldn't have a clue on what he hell the game is all about.......... dumb idea!!!
Bonus Ball is a lot like tuna flavored ice cream.......... a new idea... but the implementation sucks.............

Again, depends who you ask. Johnny on InsidePool stream 2 nights ago said he met with Barry @ last Thursday. He didn't elaborate; he didn't sound optimistic or pessimistic. I'm not very optimistic at this point, seems they'll have to pull an oversized jackrabbit out of a derby hat. I hope "they" do and re-tool the game and schedule.
You didnt listen well or he talked about it 2x-he wound up saying BH gave them some good advice when i heard him. It was pretty clear that was it. JA started the head fake like BH was involved but enedd up with the advice thing. JA talking so fast these days- u could easily miss it.

We played a session in OKC over the last few weeks. LOTS of people got interested in what we were doing. We are not professional level players but we would be the equivalent of club champions at a country club. Best players in the house but not close to professional levels.

I took notes, was writing as fast as I could. These were taken right after he spoke @ meeting Earl when he was 13 and played 2 racks with him. I could have missed the "Hearn advice" mention you mention nostroke, perhaps he brought it up again later and I missed it.
