Is This How It Starts????

After receiving my first custom cues a few months ago, I have now just purchased a Pat Diveney. I am finding myself searching for cues. I love my gilberts but I could not pass up this cue.

Am I at the beginning of a cue collecting downward spiral? All of my gambling money soon to be tied up in an array of cues?

Yes, basically its all "uphill" or "downhill" from here depending on how you look at it ..........:D
It is such great fun though to buy, trade, and collect and to see subtle and sometimes not so subtle differences in the cues that different makers have..............:) At any rate best of luck in youre endeavors........

yep that is how it starts:

you get to know a bit about cues, a bit about tips, shaft tapers, ferrules, caes then leather cases then george cases then fellini cases, heubler cases , palmer, brunswick ad infinitum! then all of a sudden somebody asks "how come you have such nice cues but drive that old clunker of a car?" your reply: "isn't it obvious!!"

it starts when you forego buying that nice dress for your wife/girlfriend that would insure you two weeks of bliss, in order to save money for that top of the line tourquoise mali.
