Here are a few cues Jerry -R- has built or converted. I have 2 Palmer model "J's" and a 1968 Frank Paradise not shown that Jerry -R- also repaired and/or refinished including Cortland wrap.

In this group you will find an ebony model 26 1/2 Rambow, a bloodwood model 26 1/2, and ebony no-wrap titlist, several rosewood titlists, and a Southwest tribute cue. There are a couple of Szamboti and Balabushka Tribute cues, and my Rauenzahn originals.

John Marshall

Enjoy Jerry Rauenzahn's work.

John,
All I can say is WOW! That is a very fine traditional collection. Now that is cue building. My hat off to you sir for an impressive collection.
Thanx for sharing,

Troy,

You are right on!! Jerry's work is awesome. Thanks for adding pics of his extraordinary work. I know this must make the -R- man happy!!

John

That is one heck of a collection, nice work by you and Jerry -R-. Do you play with any of them?

If I had won the lottery this week I would probably own the SP and Wedge cues that are currently listed for $ale

Troy.....I've got a couple extra Ebony -R- cues if you need one  :D ;)

I do play with several of the cues daily. I love the Ebony Rambow 26 1/2, but I don't like taking it into a tavern, so I use the bloodwood 26 1/2 as my daily shooter at McQ's Billiards Hall. It's very unique with the mother of pearl wedge, and is an eye catcher. It strokes very nicely with the ivory joint and radial pin. I've always used a Predator shaft on any of my cues. Jerry builds great shafts, but they will be like brand new "test hit only" if I ever let any of these go for sale. Right now's a great time to collect his work. Some day Jerry will retire (in the not too distant future) and that should drive up his prices to where they should be. To be honest one of the main reasons I have so many cues by Jerry is his work is fantastic. He is able to do pretty much anything you ask of him. Besides being easy to talk to, he cares about his workmanship. Believe me it shows when you take a really close look at these cues.

Very nice collection John! Glad I was able to make a little contribution to it.

Jerry's work is amongst the best I have seen. I still have a few pics of your cue,
here's a close-up of one of the points:

it sure took awhile for the genersl public to take notice -R- 's work, a better craftsman and person does not exist

Last time someone posted on this thread was back in 2007. WOW!!! Time flies and look, Mr. Jerry Rauenzahn is crafting bigger and better cues these days.

He's certainly one of the best out there.

Enjoy,

John

Nice....

Wow I'm getting a tooth ache looking at all this cue candy....Sweet collection of cues:thumbup:

Chris:smile:

That Rambow 26 1/2 was the inspiration for the cue I just had Jerry build me. It plays and looks fantastic, but that original of yours is a real treasure! It kept me up nights thinking about it and anticipating the tribute to that cue he was building me. Something about keeping the full splice all above the wrap is so old school, yet so unique. Your -R- collection is absolutely insane!!!
