It is truly sad when a huge part of the billiards world passes. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I'm sure he's missed and will be for a long time to come. RIP Joe Porper. His cue holder has been used by me and my teammates for nearly 20 years and is still going strong!

RIP Joe, and my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. I was lucky enough to meet him at the Riviera at the APA nationals back in 2000, and was impressed by just how nice he was, I have a 4x8 and several other of his cases and proudly own one of his cues. I bought both the cue and the 4x8 in Vegas at that time. (I needed the 4x8 to get the new cue home safely)

Condolences and prayers to the family and friends. May you rest in eternal peace Mr Porper. You were instrumental in providing help to the multitude of players wanting that extra little something to add to their collection of accessories related to billiards. Your hard body cases were the standard to replace the cheap rag case that protected your cue. You were an inspiration to so many and it was a pleasure to meet and talk to you at one of the BCA trade shows many years ago. Once again Mr Porper thank you .

Such a great guy , the only cases I ever owned or would by in the scence for a long time . Thanks Joe . I just bought one on ebay last week and excited to have got it.

I have a 4x8 butterfly case, in faux tan ostrich, I bought from Joe himself in Vegas at VNEA in 2000. Plus 2 other 2x4 oval cases. All are still in great shape, doing what they were supposed to do.
