Johnathan Hennessey

We all know that John Hennessee has the skill and experience to be a candidate for team USA. Yes I've seen his slow play and I've seen his temper tantrums, on more that one occasions. But under a shot clock I believe that he can produce. Oscar did nothing for team USA last year and John plays better than Oscar. Is it just politics or am I missing something 🤔

It's something you are missing.

Actually, if memory serves, Oscar was the third automatic qualifier for Team USA last year. If so, there is no possible argument against the Oscar pick. Tyler Styer and Earl Strickland, I believe, were the Team USA wildcards.

I watched him play that money match a few months ago and John lost mainly due to his terrible 9' table 10ball break.
If that's the game, I'm betting heavily on Oscar. In 9' 9ball, I'm still taking Oscar, but won't bet as high.
Bar box and 1P, I'm betting it up on John.
Just how I see it.

Earl is always a wild card, these days more than ever. Not easy to be the greatest then succumb to Father Time.. Love Earl but the clock has struck midnight. IMHO

I like Oscar over Henny on the big table, but that would be a fun match to sweat.

Lets be honest USA don't have enough good players, we're not in the 90's no more.

You got Shane, Woodward......and..........no one, unless Fedor is USA now then you have three.

Maybe one more guy who's been hiding for 3-4 yrs now, he's called Justin Burgman I think, he's been hiding from tournaments and just gambling, I don't know why.

Other than these, I couldn't find a good American player.

I don't think anyone that knows him would select him for the Mosconi Cup unless he was clearly one of the top 2 US players. There are just too many negative things about him as a person and his play style and mannerisms.
I agree 100%

Hennessee has behavioral issues and I agree with that. BUT, nothing like Earl had/has. He is a force and he is not easily intimidated in the moment. He can play, he plays hard, he takes on tough action and he is a seasoned pro. I say let him in.
