Jump/Break Cue?

How do y'all feel about jump/break cues? Are they legitimately good at both, an acceptable compromise, or suck at both? Or does it vary by manufacturer?

I use a spare Schmelke playing cue for breaking and don't feel it's holding me back, but if I could jump and have a something that may break a little better without filling up my case it would be nice. I've been leaning towards the Viking if anyone has any thoughts about that. I'm very happy with my Viking playing cue and thought I would keep the theme going.

I have a PureX j/b. I really like it for breaking & rarely jump b/c I play at home most of the time in a somewhat tight space. The few times I practiced jumping I was pretty poor, though there's an excellent chance that's my fault. I purchased a dedicated break cue & will be putting the PureX on eBay soon.

I don't like them. Not ideal for both applications. Get a separate jump cue (doesn't have to be expensive, bunjees are $60 at Manning Cues).
