Like all cue collectors, I've heard and read about the hype of Southwest cues. I've been patiently looking for a nice used one for about a year and I finally got one this week. Super Big "THANKS" to fellow AZer "iusetoberich" (Nick P.) for doing this deal and making this transaction as smooth as possible. Don't hesitate to buy anything from Nick, really nice guy and very accomodating. Plus Nick was first rate in his very accurate description of the cue.
So does Southwest live up to its rep for me? A very resounding "Yes!". Nick put brand new Moori medium tips on the cue and the hit is very nice. Very comparable to my Omega/DPK and Mike Bender (all Kersenbrock influences, go figure). The fit and finish of the cue is excellent, all in all I am very happy. 6 Goncala Alves points with white, black, blue veneers. 19.1-19.2oz depending on shaft. Veneered phenolic rings at the joint and butt. Enjoy the pics.

. I think blue or green veneers look sharp with goncola alves. Lots of birdseye in the maple doesn't hurt it either. Congrats.
