This is a collectable Kirby Pucket mcdermott pool cue, these were made for Kirby Pucket fundraisers only and are very rare, this cue is in GREAT condition, no flaws on the butt of this cue, and the shaft is very nice also, it has been taken down overtime to about 12mm though, the case is a nice brown leather case, a few scuffs, a little dirty on the inside, see pictures, This is a must for Kirby Pucket fans and Mcdermott cue collectors, a truely rare cue and a great gift not to be duplicated by others. I don't have a scale but I would say it is about 19 oz., 58 inches long, 12mm(about)pro taper, irish linen wrap, 4 points with veneers, great condition, plays pretty stiff even with the small shaft. I was told these were made in the early 1990's, I think 1991, the Twins second World Series year. Don't pass this up you may never see another like it. Pictures Below., $240 shipped, Nate.

on that note gl with your sale buddy :D

Dave, I'm a big Braves fan, too, but how could anybody ever hate Kirby Puckett ?? Hard to find a better humanitarian in all of sports. That was one 1st class dude. It's a real shame he is no longer with us. He use to have some great fundraisers in/around Minneapolis.

lol not as a person or even a player. just making a joke and giving a free bump.

i seem to remember kirby stealing a hr then hitting a hr in extras to beat us in the world series:mad:

i was 11 yrs old and cried real tears like a girl

That would not have been a HR, it would have been off the plexiglass! :D

Better watch it again, it was probably 3 feet below the top of the plexiglass, here's a clip of it so you don't have to search.

Hey, I'm a Cubs fan, I have zero sympathy for you! :p :p

Oh well there's always NEXT year!

Those were great years in MN as a twins fan, 87 and 91 I grew up there and saw both world series one in middle school and the other a sophmore in high school, they showed the games in class in middle school in 87, if I remember right it was the Cardinals and the Twins, the twins took the first 2 in MN then the Cards took 3 straight in St. Louis, and the rumor was they were so sure they would win game 6 they didnt book there hotel incase of a game 7, ooops, what a great world series that was. The 1991 world series was great to, I think it is the one referred to earlier in the post, Pucket hit a walk off home run in the 11th to win 4-3 twins. And yes it is very sad that he is no longer with us, one of the best players and nicest guys baseball has ever known.
