Lacquer Scratches

Hi,

I have a couple of older McDermott and Mezz cues. They have a few scratches in the lacquer finish. Not hairline ones, but some 1/32" thick ones that go on from an 1/8" to 3/4".

How can I make these look better ?

I'm not looking to make the cues look pristine, just the scratches less visible.

That is not laquer but UV for finish, sometimes you can wet sand and rebuff and sometimes you open a nightmare, becareful and good luck.
