Lathe Driver Pins for Viking QR Joint

I'm new to the cue repair biz, and God knows I'm not doing it to get rich. So I would really appreciate any help with this.

A customer gave me a Viking cue with a Viking quick release joint, does anyone know where I could get a driver pin for this type of joint? While I'm at it does anyone know where I could get a driver pin for McDermott QR joints?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Viking
Make a mandrell with 5/16"X18. Leave the pin sticking out 7/8"
Turn the shank down to .278 for a 1/2 inch.
McDermotts
There are three.
First is uniloc which they are no longer allowed to use.
Second is a 3/8"X10
Third is a 3/8"X16.
Follow the same steps as above, only turn the shank down so there is only 3 threads left. Same shank, .278.

Is the shank necessary? Would it be OK to just use really short pins?

The shank is very important. PLease follow my directions to avoid damaging any shafts.
