TROY JONES

I don't know enough of the Americans to list the top 20, but I would definitely put Johnny Archer in top 3...

Top 5, imo, in this order:

1. Shane Van Boening
2. Johnny Archer
3. Corey Deuel
4. John Schmidt
5. Rodney Morris

I think SVB, Archer, and Dennis Hatch are the strongest in the USA right now.

No one else mentioned so far will match up even with any of these three.

9ball johnny archer is the number 1 player no contest.10 ball shane.

My .02

I would say that Danny Harriman is somewhere on that list. Maybe put Jason Kirkwood and Mike Davis/Chris Bartrum on too. I didn't realize that Tony C. and Scott F. were considered top rotation players. But, what do I know........

I have a lil friend that will play at least 3 people on the original list. One of the 3 will probably never happen, as they are good friends.

James Walden could be woken up and put on the list as well.

According to the IPT website, Ernesto was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1955 and moved to California at the age of 19. It also shows him to be American by nationality, so I guess he qualifies to be considered a top American. I stand corrected.

There is a very good player right here in town that I think could compete with most on that list . Im sure most of you know who Chad Vilmont is .
This young man can play as well as anyone IMO . Also just down the road there is Jesse Bowman and Jamie Barraks they also can compete with most on that list IMO.

Our lists are pretty similar, Chris, and my next five would likely have been you, Jones, Kirkwood, Walden and Saez. Looks like we're pretty much on the same page here except for Hennessee and Mills, who didn't make my top 25. Thanks for sharing your list, which gives us all an insider's look at who the elite really are.

IMHO I just don't see how you could leave Shannon Daulton off this list. Give him a reason to play a little and get in stroke and their would be a lot on this list who wouldn't like it!
