Level 4 Amboyna Chris Nitti
Hello Everyone. I haven't been very active here since I sold most of my cue collection off a couple of years ago. I'm still not playing much pool and I just quit my job (again) so I've decided to sell my main playing cue which I used for about 3 or 4 years.
Chris told me he would charge $1700 to make this cue today. Apparently amboyna is very expensive and hard to get these days. I'm asking a fair price of $925. But this time I am definitely selling so if you like the cue make an offer and I will likely sell it.
The cue is in 90% condition. The pigskin wrap is flawless and it rolls straight with just a very, very, slight wobble. The main flaws are two mid-sized finish dings. One is on the butt and the other on the forearm (pictured). I had Chris clean the shafts and they look great. One does have about 5 nights of play since the cleaning and a small finish ding near the joint collar. If you buy the cue and want any work done on it or if you want a new shaft, then I will take it to Chris before mailing it to you. If you don't want one of the shafts I'll take $100 off the price.
Price now lowered to $950 + shipping and PP. Thanks.
And the specs...
Joint and butt are not ivory but the ferrules are.
The tip on the lesser used shaft is 12.7mm if I remember.
The used shaft I had taken down to under 12.5 (I can get it measured exactly if need be.)
The weight of the cue can be adjusted with weight bolts. Again by memory I think I have it at 19.2 or 19.3.
