I'm currently on the market for a Merry Widow or sneaky Pete cue with a 3/8 X 10 modified pin. Preferably wrap less, wood doesn't matter. Could anyone direct me to someone who has one for sale now or if you have one for sale, could you send me a link to pictures. I have cash in hand or Paypal, if the cue meets my specifications.
Thanks in advance.

You just won't do any better than a Schmelke Sneaky Pete for a little over $100.00. Research on here concerning the Schmelke !!!

And if you want to go full bore, get an OB sneaky pete for under $400 with your choice of OB shaft.

Either way, either cue will last you forever.... or until you just wanna buy something purity ;)

thanks for the input. I was really hoping that someone on this form had a custom merry widow that they wanted to get off of their hands, but it seems like of the 200 something views on this thread, only 2 people care to share some sort of insight.
thanks again for those of you who actually responded, instead of viewing and not saying anything.

400 might barely squeeze you into a sneaky from Bob Frye or Keith Josey. My advice would be either of these two...and forget about resale value...because you won't be selling it anytime soon.

I have a Bob Frye and my buddy has a Keith Josey and they are nothing short of spectacular in build quality. These should be on your short list. Goodluck.

I'm guessing 200 people wanted to see how somebody was going to tell you there's a whole 'want to buy' section in the aptly named 'wanted/for sale' sub forum in some clever and snarky manner. Jus sayin...

If you want a super nice, and super sweet hitting Sneaky, I would recommend getting a Pat Diveney sneaky. I am sure you can find a seller that would let one go for $400. Or you can buy a brand new one directly from Diveney for $475 plus shipping (if a Radial pin is okay with you).

You will not regret your purchase. His cues hit amazing in my opinion. Good luck.

Try Icon Of Sin, he has a pretty nice Bob Frye sneaky in your price range.

Try to find a used Diveney sneaky (they are available from time to time for around the $400 price range). In my opinion, they are really super sweet hitting cues. Skyler Woodward used a Diveney for a long time (up until Meucci offered him a sponsorship). If you can afford $500, then you can get a new one.

By the way, I think they usually have a Radial joint pin, but that hits similar to a 3/8x10 I think. Anyways, they are really great. You will fall in love with one at 1st hit (I assure you of that). Pat also makes a really beautiful sneaky. They hit as good or even better then they look (which is saying a lot I think).

A Diveney sneaky gives either of those 2 cue makers sneaky petes the 6 out and the breaks, lol (sorry, that may not have been funny, but I do not think they compare to the super sweet hit of a Diveney, in my opinion). A very nice used Diveney sneaky can be had for around $400 (that is, when ever a player is desperate enough to let go of their Diveney).

Sneaky vs. Merry Widow

Sneaky Pete's by virtue are plain looking; hence they are "sneaky"
Merry Widows have good wood, no points or fancy ring work.
Here's a decent Merry Widow.....

Finally some Merry Widow photos. I was starting to get sick of all the Sneaky Pete advertising.

Freddie <~~~ loves sneaky Widows
