I hope we have all seen "The Hustler" by now; probably most of us own a copy (or two) as well.
Anyway, the case that 'Fast Eddie' uses in the movie- I think it was either suede or Velvet covered (hard to tell in B&W) which had a woven (leather?) handle. He puts it up on the shelf when he goes into Ames the first time looking for a game with Fats.
Anyone know more about this particular case?
Was it a production case?
If not, who made it?
Are they available?
If not, anyone have any GOOD photos of this case so that it might be reproduced?
I always liked it. I have made a few cases of wood for myself, but would like to have one like that if possible.
