Mezz Wavy 1 and Wavy 2

Wouldn't recommend forcing anything. As far as I am aware, it's an additional plating (so I'd say, essentially you want to retro-fit it to Wavy 1 again), so it's more about removing that, than forcing it to fit.
I have Wavy 2 butt, and shafts, but also some Wavy 1 shaft. Wavy 2 fits and feels a lot nicer imo. Really smooth, easy joint (but not had much trial of others if I am being honest)
 
NO. Wavy1 shaft will fit a W2 pin but not the other way around. The new W2 pin has a smaller minor diameter. WTF would anyone try to force it? You just dying to ruin an expensive shaft??
