I haven't ever been to one of these hot shot tourneys before. I think its great Jessie. I am goint to spread the word to all the shooters I know.

P.s. I have been thinking about that straight pool league you started. is it going to ongoing?

I will probably be there and probably bring a few chicago buddies. Is there a limit to the number of players? It is too long of a drive to risk not being able to play...

I seen Evelyn run these type up to 128 players on a normal weekend. I'm sure they can accommodate more if they show. I wouldn't worry about that.

Unlike the local tournaments in the STL area this tournament will pay 1/4 of the field like MOST tournaments. This tourney will pay 1/4 of the field like MOST tournaments and 1/8 of the field in the auction.


128 players
Extreme payouts 32
Auction payouts 16

I would go the same level of payouts with 192, you have to make it worth the drive and associated cost for this??

of course this is worth going too roger you only live 45minutes away. its not a life decision. put your money in with the rest of us and play your best. thats all you can do! dont make excuses.

Jesse, you should consider doing a room deal with the Castle Lodge in Bettendorf...this would be cool and show your pool players a little culture.

Best tournament

So........Is this like or unlike MOST tournaments, and who is running and organizing this tournament?
I just wanted to know if it is worth coming to play (regardless of whether it is a good day or bad day).

Evelyn and Danny Dysart run the best 9 ball tournaments, with alternate breaks even the worse players get to break.

The payouts are spread across 1/4 of the field. Jesse won the event at Olathe and he paid a 60 buck entry and the return was 2000 plus the auction, which was another 2000, if he had 1/2 he got 3000 for the weekend.

By paying 1/4 of the field at least a good portion of the field we get some money back.

Hell I am driving up from St Louis.

Jesse might even give free drinks to AZrs?
