I just got some pics of the Skip Weston that I have on order, which is nearing completion! The cue is going to be a real stunner! Here's a peak at the JPs:

What's wrong with ivory inlays in JPs?! I think they look awesome...lol. Then again, I'm sure you won't like the cue because you already said it looks like a guy with a plaid shirt and striped pants!

My post was a QUESTION, "Ivory INLAYS in JP's?" Ivory or Faux Ivory, or What?

Curious as to weather the Inlays are Ivory...?

Yeah, it's not unusual...and I think it's a nice touch. My Tibbitts JPs have Ivory inlays. Hell, I've seen solid Ivory hand-carved JPs.....now, those DO tend to be a tad pricey, but then if you're paying $20,000.00 or more for a cue, you're probably not going to whine about $1,000.00 or so for joint protectors, especially since they tend to become a part of the theme of the cue.

You're killing me man! Skip sent me some pics of mine a couple of weeks ago but he had been unable to spray the finish on it because it was too humid. Hope it dries out in Jersey soon!

Looks pretty nice. I don't know, but for some reason the points remind me of a Pheasant tail feathers.

Very nice Zack, my cue is nearing completion as well. Haven't asked for any pics, I want to be wowed when I walk into his shop...
