Ive been playing at a mates pool room, and on the white board he has a sentence written:

"Become a cold hearted champion"

As im getting a pool room set up, id also like to put up a white board, though i cant think of anything to get me started other than "dont miss!"

Does anyone do this kind of thing, if so, whats on the white board.

Cheers,
Dave.

I like the new slogan on the new t-shirts featured over at the website of Southern Billiards. They are celebrating their 15th year of operation with a special t-shirt that says "In God we trust, Others must post". I really liked that saying myself.

All the gambling slogans got me thinking:

I hope you paid your rent first because you can NOT live here.

Don't know if this helps but a local pool room (the Coronation) has a set of rules...

No food and drink on the tables,
don't sit on the tables,
spend lots of money.

The now closed 211 Club in Seattle was an old school over-21 poolhall with no lights other that the table lights, no music, no kids. Of course I started going there at 19. Great place to shoot. They had a bunch of signs that were posted above the counter but the one that really stood out in my mind said:
NO LOUD NOISES
NO WHISTLING
NO BULL$#!+

A great place to concentrate and play great pool with the old railbirds watching the matches. Man I miss that place.

Yeah I knew they had a fire in the building shortly after they moved out that started in the bar on the first floor. Can you say INSURANCE FRAUD!!!! I heard the tables went to a poolhall in Colorado Springs but I am not sure. They had two 12x 6 snooker tables...now Seattle only has two that I know of. One at Jillians and the other at the Eastlake Pub.

There was an instructional vidio out a while ago called "No time for negatives".

What a great slogan.

That reminds me of one that I keep in mind: Negative energy will only make me stronger.

First time I ever saw a snooker table, was on my 21st birthday. Couldn't believe how big it was. One of the few taverns/bars I've been in where it doesn't matter who or what you are, biker/suit/hippie/whatever, you can feel at home.

Also remember the 211 club when you entered into a dingy little elevator with no visible clue as to where it lead, before they moved to the "new" location on 2nd.

"A break and run is like sex, you want to do it over, and over, and over..."

"Show me a 300 run, and I'll show you a rack boy"

"Confusius say, man with stick and ball will show you the hole"

"$|¬0\/\/ /\/\ |≡ ┬|¬≡ /\/\0/\/|≡¥" <--- says "show me the money"

"Would rather play golf inside, than outside"

Feel free to use any of them. Just came up with them.

Never chalk before miscueing!, not mine, from "The Houseman" owner of D&D family billiards in Pa.

I have a button on my poolroom's bulletin board that says, "I'm up to the challenge."
