I'm so proud of our team this year, especially so after this Memorial Day's weekend visit to naval bases in Southern Cal. I'm thrilled by the leadership of Mark Wilson and Don Wardell as well. As a gift to the team I would like to present to Mark something that Danny Medina's girl friend Laurette made for me many years ago. She knitted it herself over a period of weeks!

I've hung it with pride on Memorial Day and now it's time for me to pass it on to Team USA. I hope it brings them a little extra luck in the challenge that lies ahead for them. It's my best memory of my good friend Danny, who was a patriotic American as well as a great pool player. I miss you Danny and I hope some of your talent and heart rubs off on these guys.

You Rock Jay

That is a great gesture and one that will be remembered!

A wonderful item and thing to do. I will look for the knit flag for years to come during the mosconi cup.

Very nice Jay; seems Mark is already doing more than just bringing the team together. Sounds like he's firing up the rest of us also... I know I'm fired up and have nothing to do with it after reading and hearing how their trip impacted them so far. Go USA !

Jay, what a great gesture! My hats off to you sir! I hope everyone can see and most of all understand the beauty in that incredible work of art! Ladies and gentlemen, that is the American flag(Mosconi Cup Flag)! Let's all get behind that flag, let's all get behind our country, and let's us all stand behind our great players that will perform for this great country!

Let's all get behind Mark Wilson and team USA! It's the sport we people, let's get behind them and support them. For those who choose to be negative towards the team, find something else to be negative about, maybe get out of the pool world;) just a thought;)

Thanks Jay, thanks Mark, and thanks to all those who have made sacrifices for the well being of others! Thank you
