I am currently looking for a tip repair lathe. Want to know which route to go. I get alot of 1 piece cues and a few 2 piece cues. I am not really interested in serious cue repair. Any info is appreciated.

The "ask the cuemaker" section of the forum would be a great place to start. Some threads about lathes in there.
I did put it in the cue machinery and supplies section, Just thought I would get more of the casual tip repair person in here.
Isn't that what is used on tbe seyberts video on tip installation? It seemed to work pretty slick for them.
I have been using the Unique Products repair lathe for 15 years, fixed several forests worth of cues. Easy to learn, easy to use...best thing I have bought since I started repairing cues over 40 years ago.
www.MidAmericaPool.com has a nice assortment. Todds stuff is quite good for a reasonable price.
