Hello Everyone,

So my friend's father kept on bragging to me that he had a Balabushka sitting in the garage. I am thinking to myself, why would you keep a Balabushka in your garage? It should be in a safe somewhere, oh it well it's probably one of those Adam production cue lines right? I thought that until I saw it, maybe you guys can help me out. Before I try and contact Mr. Tascarella, I figured some of you might be able to tell right away... Can you help a guy out... Is this a Genuine Balabuska?

Looks like it could be. I think it is a Spain blank.

Thank you guys for the feed back

Thank you guys so much for the feed back. I guess next up is to get it authenticated by mr. tascarella.

Thanks again! :D

hahahhah

Don't pay any attention to that page.. it's all hogwash... that's a Mike Fedunka and I'll easily send him a few hundred for it...

JV

I will make sure that he is aware that it's a fedunka ;), and that you offered a couple of hundred!!

ONE MORE VOTE FOR IT BEING A BUSHKA. THE BUMPER DOES LOOK DARK, BUT THE LIGHTING IN THE PICS, ISN'T THE BEST EITHER.

OF COURSE, THE LETTER FROM PETE CAN ONLY DO POSITIVE THINGS FOR THE CUE AND IT'S VALUE.

I got a better pic of the bumper...

LOOKS BLACK TO ME..... THAT'S THE ONLY THING THAT DOESN'T SCREAM BUSHKA.

GET IT TO PETE, THE BUMPER COULD EASILY HAVE BEEN CHANGED.

BUT DON'T BE SURPRISED IF IT'S NOT A BUSHKA. THERE WERE ALOT OF GUYS BUILDING CUES LIKE THAT USING THE SAME FOREARMS AT THAT TIME. IT'S SAD TO SAY THAT THERE MAY BE MORE FAKES THAN THERE ARE VERIFIABLE EXAMPLES.

YOURS LOOKS GOOD GOING FROM EVERYTHING ELSE THOUGH.

Marcus

I'm curious whether the cue and shaft roll straight on a cue of that age.

Thanks Marcus. :D

Does anyone have Mr Tascarella's contact information? He is not to far from me since I remember seeing he is in Massapequa...

this is straight as an arrow.

That's cool. It's funny how some cues warp in short order and others are still straight decades later. I have a nearly 20 year old Schon, $10 Dufferin sneaky and a cheap Crest which all roll straight and yet I've seen more expensive cues which roll off. I guess it's a combination of selection of wood, construction method and luck.
