thats a toughy lex,

If I had to guess I'd say 60's era Paradise? Palmer-ish? Brunswick-esque?

I'm not the best with the real old ones.

good luck,
G.

Rich or Mastercraft out of NYC. I don't think Rich used those points and when Viking bought MasterCraft they supposedly had a lot of parts.

Not worth much.. but for craps and giggles.. $ 200

i was hopping it would be a paradise cue, a lot of people are leaning towards rich.i ask tascarella and he couldn't tell me. it looks like it has a few different designs going to different cue makers like rich paradise, Adams. thanks for the info.

It's a cue made to look like a Paradise. However there are things on the cue that definately ain't Paradise. It's none of his cohorts either, not Mayer and not Fedunka.

I think that joint pin is unique? It should not be hard to track the maker down. I could be wrong as Tascarilla does not have a clue then I sure don't. I never seen a joint pin like this before!

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I think it looks like the pins on early Rich cues. Sure looks like a Rich to me.

If I had to guess a cue maker, I would guess Rich and I could completely eliminate Paradise and Palmer. It has all the traits of a Rich, technically nothing Palmer or Paradise about it. The sharp pin was widely available to many cue makers for many years and was used on and off by many.

I am a little confused about the date of the cue. It looks like a 1960's cue but certain qualities looks like 1970's. Those small black inlays or fill near the forward rings (where the veneers come together) could be for a finished look, but they were also used to cover tear out when the ring tenon was cut. They are not commonly seen.
