The additional cues in the Bandido's Cues thread had an amboyna series and a scrimshaw series. I just want to know if these cues were made because these designs and woods are becoming more popular internationally or is it the choice of the cue maker?
For the second question, I suppose Bandido would be the proper person to answer. For the first question... maybe you guys can give your inputs. Are scrimshaws and amboyna woods (or similar woods) being made by more cuemakers nowadays?
How do you rate these woods in terms of impact to the cue design and contribution to the cues structural integrity?
