I decided to do this on a lark for the New Year.

This is a contest. The first person to give the right answer will win:
The contest ends at midnight on the 31st. I will pay the postage for the winner.

THE PRIZE:
A Brand new, never been worn, dark Army tan button down Rumors Billiards shirt, short sleeve, from Rumors here in Wichita, Ks. I have had it awhile, and never worn it because I don't like to play in button down shirts. It was a substitute for the shirt I originally wanted, and it is a $30 shirt. It is a size Large.

For those that don't know, Terry Young, a 3 time National BCA Champion owns Rumors here, since it opened about 20 years ago. Terry has been a friend for 30+ years.

What you can know: Occurred in 1968. It was the longest playing session I have ever played. I was 20, he was 15-16. It was his first 'Road trip'.

The Question: Who was the person that I played? He later became a Professional Player, and received his share of accolades as a professional player.

Clock's ticking!!! :D

Two more good guesses. I'm giving the shirt to Marissa if I win it, for her beau!

That'll take a lot of the fun out of looking at her pic:(

If I do get lucky and win, I would like the shirt to go to Jay please.

Your clues give the guy a birthdate of 1953-1954, so here's my guesses.

Mike Sigel, Bobby Hunter, Ronnie Wiseman, Danny Medina, Jose Garcia (didn't really travel much, but what the heck), Ernesto Dominguez, Jeff Carter, Kim Davenport, Roger Griffis, Dan Louie, James Walden (born 1957),
Mike Zuglan, David Matlock, Bill Stephens or Ike Runnels.

I won't repeat the ones already named in previous posts.
