Hi all , I have this scruggs cue that plays lights out but im fickle with cues and always like to try something new lol

But this cue hit awesome Rolls straight with both shafts..points are pretty close to even

shaft 1 is 13mm non ivory not pictured because im getting it re cleared and new tip installed will have the other shaft back by Thursday maybe sooner I dropped it off last Friday

shaft 2 is 12.75 non ivory with a kamui S tip

cue is 19.1 and the balance is amazing

Eleventy billion shipped or trade for a brand new Predator roadline cue with wrap + cash

As you can see in the pics all the wood in this cue has nice figure to it

Does the sellers cue look like this one ?

is this a sneaky pete or 4 point custom no veneer? nice cue though

This is what the TS sneakies look like. Very similar to what all sneakies look like.

The cue Old Orvis is selling is a 4 point, non-sneaky.

and it's beautiful.

azdiamondback's pic is a true sneaky; some other sneakies have joint collars and/or butt caps..

best,

That is what the old, plain sneakies look like, but the white delrin butt cap ones are by far the most popular. Lots of fancy SPs from Scruggs, too.

As for saying that "No ts sneakies have stainless steel joints."

I have owned steel jointed Scruggs SPs...they would make whatever you ordered...SS, phenolic, white/black, ivory, or no joint.

Pookster asks a valid question...basically, is this a full-splice or short splice cue (ie, is it a nice sneaky with a wrap). I think it is a really nice cue, and definitely worth what the OP is asking. I would question that a Scruggs short-splice cue would have "points that are close to even".

Beautiful cue, exceptional condition, great buy...the second Scruggs shaft alone adds $200 to the value.

Seriously??
Why would you offer your cue for sale in somebody else's thread?

Dale,
I think he was offering as proof of the existence of stainless steel joint TS sneakies, but your point is valid, for sure.

.....

His offer for his cue doesn't bother me I'm pretty laid back :-) hope it helps him sell it honestly

And as for the cue ..it's awesome
Plays great both shafts are awesome
The shaft not pictured is newer and actually feels the same as the old shaft
Honestly I don't know short splice or full splice for sure but a guy that is a Scruggs geek around here says the forearm wood is to nice to had just been a sneaky to start since it's has nice figuring ...it def could be a full splice but from the info I've got it's a old one ...early 80s is what I've been told ...not saying that is gospel but what I've been told

I appreciate all the kind words about it though ...it plays really amazing ...I'm just a cue changer constantly lol
