Just a few players built lately. Two for the customers and one for myself.

Very nice work! It's difficult for me to to tell, but what kin of finish did you use? Hand rubbed oil or satin finish? Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the compliments.
I'm just a hobbyst who is still learning by doing. My experience tells me whatever you do it is not only about what to use but even more important how to use it. Depending on the woods used, color combinations some "tricks" might be needed. That cue on the right with very dark and oily ABW & light flamed maple is a good example...I used some epoxy for sealing and many layers of true oil for finish plus some wax at the end.
On my cue (in the middle) I used only true oil and some wax because I prefer that certain feel of the wood in my hand and so as it's not going anywhere but stays with me I'll see how it holds up with time.
