The OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour is the largest, longest-running Women's Regional Tour in the Country. We are nationally recognized for our low entry fees, 2nd chance tournaments, and 100% pay-back with a third to a half the field paid every time.

The OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour is proud to announce that Casper’s Billiards in San Leon, TX will be hosting their first WPBA Texas State Championship on the weekend of April 16-17th. This event will be open to all female players, including WPBA Touring Professionals. The highest finisher in the event that pays the additional qualifying fee of $25 will be eligible for a paid spot to play in the 2011 WPBA US Open at the River Spirit Casino in Tulsa, OK on June 16-19th. Roy and Kathy Robinson, the owners of Casper’s, are excited to be hosting their first State Championship event and look to do some extra touches for the ladies to make this a special event for the players. As always, the room is inviting to players with 12 9-foot Brunswick Gold Crown tables and one 12-ft Snooker table spread out between two stories. They also offer a full restaurant and bar, including daily lunch and dinner specials. For players looking to take a break from the pool action, the balcony overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, the room is within walking distance to a local park, and the Kemah Boardwalk is within driving distance. There is a reason this room was voted one of Billiard Digest’s Top 10 Pool Rooms in the Country (2009) and we hope you will join us the weekend of April 16-17th to see why.

$2,000 guaranteed added!
Nine-Foot tables, Double Elimination, Race to 7, and Alternate breaks throughout the tournament.

Just a reminder, this is the weekend prior to the Ultimate 10-Ball Championships in Frisco, TX for those pros and regional players making the trip out for that event, you are also eligible to play this event now that it is a State Championship.

This is a great room! I was out there last year and enjoyed it immensely. I don't think I'll be able to make it out to this event, but I wish everyone the best of luck!

Technical difficulties on the streaming

Sorry guys, I was supposed to post this earlier but I have been out of the house all day.

The OB tour is experiencing technical difficulties streaming today. It appears that the bar changed internet providers and they have a call out to the new provider for assistance.

There are 44 players in attendence for the event. Top picks are reigning tour champ Lisa Marr, WPBA pro Nicole Keeney, past Caspers winner Terry Petrosino, former WPBA pro Cristina De La Garza, and former BCA champs Amanda Lampert & Ming Ng.

I'll continue to post updates as I receive them from the tour directors.
