IGNORE THE THREAD TITLE, IT'S A SWIFT CASE

I'M RELATIVELY SURE THAT THIS IS AN OLD SWIFT CASE. IT IS PRETTY BEAT UP, BUT IT'S STILL A DECENT CASE TO CARRY AROUND. THIS IS NOT A SHOW PIECE BY ANY MEANS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS BLEMISHES, AND IT'S ROUGHED UP. THE TOP POCKET, HAS A SPOT THAT WAS RESEWN TOGETHER, AND BELOW THE LATCH THERE IS AN IMPERFECTION THAT WAS REPAIRED. ALL IN ALL I THINK THE CASE HAS CHARACHTER. I WOULD CARRY IT MYSELF, BUT A 2X4 ISN'T BIG ENOUGH FOR ME.

It is INDEED a older Flowers case.

Looks like the latch has already been replaced, which is a good thing. For the rest of it, a good Shoe/Leather Repair Shop can fix it right up for someone and have it looking GREAT.

Something about these older cases that ya just gotta love- the look & feel of the leather - sweeeet.

Good luck with this one - it won't last long! Someone's getting a classic!
 
Ok, It's Either A Swift Or A Flowers. I Have Now Seen A Flowers And A Swift That Are Almost Identical To It. I Have No Idea How To Be Sure About Which One It Is.
 
did flowers use these type latches? i've never seen one with this type but then again i've only seen about 5 or so. anyway you can't go wrong if it's either.
 
I own both a Flowers and a Swift Case. I would be 90% sure it's a Swift case by those pictures. The pocket style, latch, and tapper pocket look for sure to be Swift.

Edit - My Swift case has that exact design on the pocket just not colorized....

Is there any writing under the handle? if it's a Flowers it should say Jeff Q case in a really flowing cursive writing.

I must have posted right when you were TATE.....Sorry:o I could almost swear that it was a flowers. I have seen a bunch of them and that looked identical. But I got a good laugh out of it. Sorry Tate.

The latch had me wondering, so I assumed it was replaced. And the dye used for the balls was different, but having owned several, I still thought it was a Flowers, not a Swift.

Thanks for straightening us out, Tate!! :D
