I had mentioned a couple of times on here and told Nick as well that I'd be going to Planet Pool in Hagerstown. I thought I'd let you know that has changed. My daughter's Softball Opening day parade was rained out on Saturday. Postponed till this Saturday. I'm assistant coach so unless it rains again this week I'll be marching instead of playing pool. One of these days I'll get to meet you all.
 
C'mon rain! The tour will also be there sunday and you will see better pool then too. Stottlemeyer needs you!

Rain is predicted for Saturday but I wasn't going to say anything for fear that if I said anything it might not rain. Do I know you Black-Balled?
 
Nick, I should see you on Sat instead of Sun (YAY) unless something happens between now & then. Continue to keep them digits crossed! Sounds like the competition there is going to be pretty good... can't wait! ;)

The excitement is more in the fact of why I'll be there on Sat instead of Sun.... was in reference to a PM to Nick ;) ..... Looking forward to meeting you LS. Anyone else on here heading out there this weekend???

I'm excited! Two famous AZB posters in the same poolroom?!? I'm not worthy! :D

Timberly, you won't be disappointed about coming on Saturday--there will be more action than on Sunday. Plus you'd be able to buy me that beer... when Sunday comes, there is no drinking for me as I have to drive home.

LS, I'm bringing the Austrian Rum for you! Can you smell it already? :p

Team McCready is counting on making it to Hagerstown. Genie Man says it's only a 20-minute drive from Frederick, MD, making it about 1-1/2-hour drive for me from D.C. Not sure whether we're going to take advantage of the hotel savings offered by NUTS at the Red Roof Inn at this time. Since I don't drink alcohol, I'm always a good designated driver! ;)

Great! It's not a bad drive to get there. Sounds like we'll have a star-studded field then if Ryan is coming too. I'm trying to get hold of Pooky to get him to come--and explain his unexpected win at the Seminole Pro 10-Ball thing in Florida this past weekend. I thought he wasn't playing pool anymore.

I should be there! I've been wondering for months now who Landshark77 is. I've been trying to figure it out - I've probably been in the same room with her many times in the past, and it makes me crazy that I can't figure out who you are. Do you think you can fill me in? I promise I won't tell anyone! Send me a PM or let the whole world know...lol.

I started this thread with bad news for me but it seems to have turned into a good new thread. I'll help it along a little. My daughter says that after the parade I should skip the speeches and go to Planet Pool. So I should get there in time. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Yes, I do. If I didn't spend time with her I'd have just said, 'No, I'll stay here'. She knows I've been talking about going to a PP 9-ball event for a long time. What I said to her at first was, "What?, you think I'm that anxious to go down there and get beat?" She laughed and said, "Oh dad, go! and win!" So now I have to show her I'm going to try. Winning just isn't going to happen, but I don't plan on embarrassing myself.
