I recently had Artemis rubber installed on my 20 year old 9 foot Diamond table. The playing area now measures 50 1/8 inch by 100 1/4 inch. I did not measure before the new rubber went on but this does not seem right. Can you explain what is going on?

Thats kinda strange, usually when you get the wrong rubber the table loses its twice as long as it is wide thing. If the new cushion is an 1/8" shorter which is what it sounds like is going on your table would be 50 1/4" x 100 1/4", no longer twice as long as it is wide. I realize that does not answer your question but that is all I have to offer, sorry.

I see what you are saying, and it makes sense. Just to repeat myself, I'm at a loss to figure it out. Thanks for your input.

Did they use the Intercontinental 66,? which is a k55 profile. If they used the regular 66 its an eighth of an inch narrower. This could explain the different dimensions.
