TO fulfill his promise to turn Gen. Santos City as the center for billiards in the country, Saranggani representative and boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao will hold another international tournament in SM Mall-GenSan on Dec. 8-16. US Open champion Shane Van Boening has signed up for the singles event and will pair up with Dennis Orcullo in the doubles event.

Shane and Dennis doubles partners. That is one heck of a team!

Very very nice.

Just too far away.

Wish it was in Manila. Would love to have a big competition in Manila like the old days.

Pacquio might as well just give them the money!

Talk about stacking the deck!!!
only 5 possible contenders to those two.

Ralph and toastie
Appleton and neils
Wu and yang
Ko brothers
Biado and lee van corteza

Everyone else need not show up!!!

If they both play the way they did in the recent Open finals it's hard to imagine anyone beating them.

Bravo to Pacman for putting his money where his passion is. Couple guys step up like that here in the States and pool would be riding high once again.

I guess for the big money you will see the best players team up
i bet we will see some other big guns on the same team
hard to beat Shane and Dennis but sometimes the best players are not the best team

You might be right Dennis might be better off with somebody that can play outside the USA lol j/k

Very interesting statement as an event like this could be the one that puts Shane over the top playing outside of the US.

A great pairing from both a skill and psychological perspective.

Although I didn't read the link to find out I will say I hope it is streamed.
