No. It's just that there are so many great players, no one group can dominate all the time.
A lot of them are opting for overseas action instead of the US, so we don't get all the news about their success, also.

Would you bet big on any country's team against the likes of Orcullo, Reyes, Bustamente, Alcaide, Parica, Sambajon, Alcano or Pagulayan?

I think Alcaide is from Spain.
 
Why would Piano players be in a slump? Are the wages too low? Hours too long? Maybe the benefit package is too...what? He said Pinoy. Not Piano?
