That the Pro events in May in Vega$, whether they were CSI or some other organization overlapped with events scheduled in Europe or Asia not just this year but in previous years as well.
I am pretty sure I am correct. That being said, if I was Mark Griffin I would put out a public press release and verified email that was sent to the Filipino organizers wayyyyyy in advance and ask for cooperation that dates don't overlap. I understand that the dates were announced way in advance but it just seems the message isn't getting thru to other promoters. Maybe CSI already did this but if it happens more than once like it has I would hope that something could be done to avoid it. Too bad the Filipino organizers don't post here cause I would love to hear their explanation why the dates were forced to overlap and they had no alternative.

As Holly stated, we had our dates set 2 years ago.
I personally think it is wrong for a major event to schedule on top of another major (BCA Points event).
We all realize scheduling is often time very hard. BUT we at CSI intentionally set our dates as far in advance as we can to avoid these date conflicts.
I think the WPA needs to pay a little bit more attention.
This one seems a little more touchy because of the history of payment problems from the promoter of the World 10-Ball.
Assuming all goes well with that event, CSI will work with the last few players in the World 10-Ball to not conflict with our event. They do gain a day in flying to the US - also not all players will be playing th first day (starts in the evening).

Just got back in the office from my errand...we received so far today, 2 more in the 10-Ball and another one for the 1-Pocket.
Will ping ya so we can compare notes on how our day is going so far...also Bill and the team from upstairs are surrounded by envelopes and entries being processed for the BCAPL nationals.

In the U.S. Open One Pocket Championship: 14 spots remaining
With 6 weeks before park the rock time
I will be working on a charity event this weekend, so be gentle however email me if you wish to secure one of the few remaining spots.

I think the 10-ball has a couple less- maybe around 10 spots left.
