Which do you find more advantageous for getting position in rotation games?:

1) Mastering swerve and delivering a soft cue ball with tons of spin for position. OB is pocketed due to slow speed.

2) Mastering shot straightness with small spin and using speed for position. OB is pocketed due to accuracy.

How much swerve/spin should I consider unreasonable to wield?

How much swerve/spin should I consider unreasonable to wield?

I don't know what swerving is but it is pretty unreasonable to put much of anything on the balls. If you observe matches on fast cloth, players tend to put very little on the balls and still get there.
