Are the players ever allowed to buy their selves?Usually, the player is given the opportunity to buy up to half of himself from the winning bidder.

A player should be able to buy their self if they are the high bidder. Are the players ever allowed to buy their selves?

No, it is mind-numbing.Thanks!
Just curious, do you guys like to watch the auction?
Carl the big money high roller offered the owner 10k to make it no smoking this year lolWhat's the story on the no smoking? A Permanent change? Just for this event? Didn't see anything online. New law?
Thanks.
I'd guess none of the players bought half, maybe a horse did, but ain't many players walking around with 20k especially that they could put up in a crap shoot.Which players are buying half there self. 20k for Alex or Fedor.
I know Buddy Hall use to ask for 20%. Curious how much was expected on 123kI'd guess none of the players bought half, maybe a horse did, but ain't many players walking around with 20k especially that they could put up in a crap shoot.
I've always heard it's up to the purchaser to "tip" if his horse comes in the money. I personally would. I've also heard many people say "why should I give the player anything? He's not going to give me a dime if he loses or forfeits."I know Buddy Hall use to ask for 20%. Curious how much was expected on 123k
I've had two different players either forfeit to leave or oversleep their match. Neither gave me a dime. I do normally tip the player on my total profit (I may buy multiple players and win half of what I collect), but Buddy could f off requiring 20%. First time hearing that, no surprise he ruined casino gambling on pool years ago.I've always heard it's up to the purchaser to "tip" if his horse comes in the money. I personally would.
