Found a simple opener. Then realized that it's the King pad, normal has it last. But Goofy calls a rule change and we continue. Just so He can claim the 4 points. Zero serving 4.

Of course Goofy is Lefty and closed Station 1 with another 4. So leads 9-2 with Right taking the first attempt to Target 2, which can be either with 2 or more rails.
Rights selection of the first shot put Lefty at a huge table hooked while Right had the Simple Natural angle. Hmmmm better try a long range shot to the 9 ball. Lefty eats it up and insisted on a photo. Proof of concept on 3 rails instead of the first attempts at 2.
An interesting study that showed me something, that was a surprise. A Good Surprise as I now know just a little bit more. ☺ but at my age remember might be a........uh......what were we talking about?

The score now shows 21-5 Lefty with a 7 on the 9 ball 3 rails and both on the pad. Closed the station. House rules call for more rails on the final target ball. Hmmmmm?
OK the secret sauce was because the other white on the launch pad made the right side unavailable. Center ball to a touch of.....back it up. TAkes it to 3 rails quite handily so no handicap here. Over

The end rail side end side to the dirt color 6 ball is a natural shot that's probing my speed control.
After a rewarding workout Right finally scores a station closing 7 point shot. Ran over on time so conceded the match.
I feel for you because I was on the same boat with that linen cloth on the shaft. With wood you either need to wear gloves or put powders, alternatively this is another solution which is a linen material wrapped around the shaft. Because lets face it wood is very sticky especially with sweaty hands which is what I had before, in fact I hate gloves soo much that I didn't know what to do. I had to either powder up which ruins the table, or wear gloves and I hated both.
Finally I found the solution, not using linen cloth like in your picture because its just like gloves which thickens the shaft alot & not to mention you wont have this natural feeling for position with that cloth, maybe you'll disagree here but you wouldn't know you're wrong until you see the other option. The real solution for this is CF shafts, yes I said it....carbon fiber, no gloves, no powder, no silly linen cloth.....its so smooth that I dont hear the sound of my hand while stroking like I did with wood. I love it!! I suggest you switch to CF, even if you're the typical "Oh i'm not into technology and i love the old stuff" still, give it a go.

The 2 rails out of the near corner to the red 3 is kicking my ass. Lots of 2s and even 3s but can't close the station with Lefty leading 30-16. Break is called
Whew finally Lefty closed the station with a 4 for a 34-18 lead. Looks like a little long on the cocked hat might get 4 rails to the red stripe 11 on the King pad.
The cocked hat 4 railer was there and Right pulled off a couple 5 point shots before Lefty closed, game set match with an 8 and 42 -32 win.

Looking for 4 rails to the 9 ball on the King pad.
The first attempt was based on the cocked hat(3 rails to the side pocket). Theory was that just beyond the side could yield 4 rails to the 9.
The accident was finding 5 rails to the back of the 9. Wow! Fun and educational.

In practice there are no missed shots, just Repititions. Reps are required for my fitness program.Cool Hand Luke said:
