ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL !!! I suggest he attend Citizenship classes.
Rickw said:I don't see how this is related to pool. However, since the thread is here, I might as well comment. What do you expect out of a guy that represents only 10% of the people in this country? He put our troops in danger and they're getting killed at 1 or 2 a day and for reasons that are not clear to this day and against the rules governing the UN. Given all that, he hasn't given our troops a raise in pay yet and he's been trying to cut veterans' benefits damn near ever since he's been in office! I wish the "moral majority" would wake up and smell the damn coffee!!!!!

Also, the media kept reporting last night that Bush was at the race as a "NASCAR fan". Bush couldn't wait to leave and was outta there right after the first green flag. What a bunch of BS. He was only there for campaign purposes and he doesn't even have an opponent yet. DISGUSTING !!!
I wonder who he thinks he's kidding.

jjinfla said:Hey Troy, Do you think you would utter those words if you were at Daytona?
There were 200,000 people there who paid at least $100 for their seat. $40 for parking. And they loved the Pres.
When the anthem was being sung I don't even remember seeing the camera on President Bush. It was on the singer. And she sure did one hellofa great job. You have to admit. But in the past I have noticed that the President has the utmost respect for our Country so I think you are full of it to bring this up.
Oh, and when you hear all the Politicians talking about our bad economy - just think of Daytona and how much money our poor, weak economy spent here.
The Secret Service dictates the moves of the President and they are on a tight schedule. It is common for all Presidents to show up at an event, make an appearance, and depart.
President Ford came to my graduation from College, said Hi, and left. That is what they do. Any deviance to preplanned moves gives the Secret Service members ulcers. President Kennedy drove them nuts.
