Question for people in the DFW area

I had heard not too long ago that CJ Wiley had opened up a new pool room. Something like CJ's Palace or something like that. It was rumored to be bigger and nicer than the other place. Does anyone know anything about this? I know someone going to the area and they wanted to go check it out. Did he open a new room & where is it if he did? Thanks!
 
You don't say??? I'd like to know too!!

The only one I know of is the one off of Gaston near I30.

Yes, about 5 years ago he opened a new place in North Dallas. No pool tables now.

It's been a few years since I've been in the place - I hadn't heard that they removed the pool tables. That's sad.

C.J.s has pool at Carsons guys it;s in a glass enclosed classy room to the right when you walk inn, B.J.
 
It is a good steak house with live band etc.when CJ wiley first started `Carsons` he had 10 or 12 Diamond tables.I have not been to that place recently.

Yep, the pool tables were in a glass enclosed room to the right when I walked in a few years ago. Have you been there lately? Are the tables still there?
 
From the looks of the enviornment, I doubt there's any action there at all. It looks more like a place where couples or maybe a few guys get together, drink beer, and bang balls around. I would be very surprised to find any action there..... I'm only saying so in case anyone here was thinking of going there for anything serious. I wonder where the action is in the DFW area anymore? I haven't been there since 1998.... :(

Im surprised it is still open in any form- When it opened, there were articles saying the monthly nut was $250,000.00. Yeah you read it right 1/4 Mil.

Are u really looking for action there?U will get action everywhere in Texas.In Dallas u can get good action at CJ`s Billiard palace.U can get action in Odessa,Lubbock,Amarillo,Bigsprings,sanAntonio,Houston,Austin,even in Kerrville,Beaumont,Texarkana,Tyler... u name it ,u got action.
U will not get action in Vanhorn and Pecos.
Texans don`t back down and they will play u till the last dollar and I love them for that reason.
I will give u some action in Las Vegas if u are seriously looking for action.I will be in vegas from 14th to 22nd of May. Cheers
