Question for quest

Ok..I hope that one or more of the instructors can help shed light on this question . Just a bit of background. In working on perfecting the execution of my stroke I line all 15 balls two diamonds off the rail.
Without the cue ball I shoot each one straight in the far corners practicing fundamentals. Straight alignment-level cue- staying down- accelerating through the shot.
Now while doing this I will quite often close my eyes so that I can feel what is happening with my body.
Here lies my question. As I'm following thru and accelerating through the shot I noticed the pressure or weight shifting from my index finger to the middle finger at the end of the final stroke.
Is there something in the grip of the stick during the stroke or final stroke that is taught ?

At the end of every stroke your knuckles should be pointing (up) towards your chin. That would put pressure on the middle finger....SPF=randyg

I appreciate the responses . I understand these concepts or fundamentals. What I'm wondering about is the shifting of pressure from the index finger to the middle finger . Since the cue is held lightly I am more aware of this.
