Man I am impressed...Cue Crazy comes through for me yet again!

Greg has done a fantastic job of rewrapping this cue. He just sent me a picture of the finished product and looking forward to having it back in my hands.

Here it is, Randall Fry tulipwood cue with a brand new double pressed black irish linen wrap.

I am one happy midget!

Thanks again Greg,
Shorty

I don't really mind either, both seem to fit the bill pretty good, and I'm not easily offended. I never did understand how fat ass was sposed to be an insult in the first place, it's just a discription and if it's acurate it can hardly be insulting.

Sorry, didn't know we had private threads around here, next time I'll check with you first boss.

Beautiful cue Shorty. Is Randall still in Springfield? I haven't heard from him or much about him since I left the area out there and moved back to Georgia. Is he still building cues?

I believe I read somewhere online that Randall passed away last year due to cancer. He was a colorful character of the game, having collected a few sticks before trying to make his own. This is the first and only one I have seen by him. I am very pleased with the cue's quality and the wood is simply stunning. I think the new wrap will really set it off. I also have matching tulipwood JP's with it as well...so really a nice setup.

Nice cue shorty. Let me know if you're ever short of cash and need to sell it. I've been lookin' for a nice plain tulipwood cue for awhile, and that thar cue is pretty.........

Enjoy it!

Peace,

Thanks for the kind words Shorty,

It's always a pleasure to deal with you. Your honest, opened minded, realistic, and apprietiative. The kind most of Us really enjoy & prefer dealing with. Makes It all worth while.

Thanks for the opertunity to work on It. It is a very nice looking cue, and feels really good in hand also. I would'nt mind having one like It Myself.

It's sad to hear the news of the maker. You can see He had a eye for It, by the way he cut the forearm just right, to catch the best figure out of the piece he cut It from. There were a few design/construction elements I found interesting also, answered a few things I was curious about trying Myself.

Thanks Again,
Greg Colbert

My advice....

Shorty -

My advice is to take the leather off and put a white with brown specs linen wrap.

Sorry my wife dared to write that.
