Rebecca Wagner Double Dips Allison Fisher - Womens CWO 10 Ball Finals Video

This was probably the best match of the Chinook Winds open...

Many thanks to Lenny for being there...

Bar tables. Digusting.
This is not real pool at the highest level.
Who the hell misses on a mini table.
Bring back the 10 footers.and lets see who can really play.

Weel heck

The best female player in the world had a bad match and lost. It is the worst I have ever seen Allison play. I think I could of hung on in that match and Allison is a much better player then me on any day but that one.

It was sad to watch..

Beggars can't be choosers. And pro players are definitely beggars.. If someone is having a tournament with a good pay out on a play school table there going to show up.

No one is blaming the pros for playing in these travesties, the blame lies with the ones promoting them.

Pool snobs...watch if you want, don't watch if you don't. Pretty simple, eh?

(edit) I'll confess to my preference of 9' tables. Mainly because I don't like playing in noisy bars.

The tables are in place for the Western BCA 9 Ball Championships so for the past few years they have been having the Chinook Winds Open a few days before on the tables with good added money and no funny stuff. The players are very happy at the venue and the people are very nice but unfortunately no room for a 9 foot table tournament as we have over 80 bar tables in here to accommodate the 1000+ players who come in to play. There is no greedy promoter behind these events and mainly volunteers who love pool. Hopefully the Chinook Winds Open events continue to grow, we had 118 in the mens and hopefully the womens numbers will improve as they were low.

I'll bet 100:1 in a set to seven, 10 ball; YOU will miss on a mini table even a valley mini table.

Wow, that escalated quickly.

I don't mind 7 foot tables at all. I should probably just jump off a bridge and get it over with

Well said, Lenny!

Thank for the information, Lenny. Always good to know the whole story. And yes, I hope to see more of the ladies in attendance over time.

BTW I meant no disrespect to you, nor do I think you are a greedy (I never used that word) promoter. You are one of maybe a couple dozen people out there in pool whose name comes to mind when I think about respectful folks sacrificing to help the game. It's just that I'm disturbed to see a growing trend toward pro events being played on the bar box. They are way too easy for the top players, and do not adequately guarantee that the cream will rise to the top. JMHO is all.
