I have a table that smells like smoke, I'm getting the cloth changed asap but any suggestions to get rid of the smell until it's changed.
I've vacuum it a couple times and used chalk off twice.

Haven't yet, thought I might give it a whirl, but I figured I would ask here first....

Thanks for the help and ideas, I posted the same basic question on the Main Forum.

The only truley effective process I've found is ozone. This will eliminate the smell of smoke rather than just mask it. We have used this technology on tables that have been in smokey pool rooms for years and it really does the job well. It also eliminates mold, mildew and most organic smells.

I've posted a link, many company's sell and rent this equipment, try your local yellow pages under air purifiers, just make sure its using an ozone generator as the primary decontamination process.

Contact a local fire restoration business. They do wonders getting smoke smells out of many different materials.

That works on everything but valets.

btw bought an Eldorado from a heavy smoker. The carpets and headliner were washed 3 times and the leather cleaned 3 times. Took 9 months of riding with the windows down as often as I could before the smell finally is barely noticeable.
