I bought a Schon SP-26 in 1993 and had it stolen, along with a Dave Tice and a Guseppie(sp) 2X4 case in 1999. I have been searching pawn shops where ever I go and the same thing in pool rooms. I am always checking out Schon cues. My memory of the cue is starting to fade and I have been trying to find a picture of it. I found pictures of a SP-28 and a SP-30 but no 26. Can anyone help me on this?
I paid around $700.00 for the cue brand new. The ebony points were slightly rounded. I can't seem to remember if it was a 4 point or six point though. It had a white material for inlays. I don't think it was ivory but someone told me that it was. There is also a slight blemish that would help to ID the cue as mine.
Any help in finding a photo would be much appreciated.
Finding the cue after all these years would be even better, I would be more than willing to reimburse anyone who happened to get that cue.
The Dave Tice cue that was stolen was one of the last Sneaky Petes Dave made. The cue was well balanced, had a jump joint in it and hit the balls as good as my Schon. I asked Dave to make me another and he told me that he wasn't going to make any more sneaky petes.
