Here it is. I have only played a few hours with it, but I like it so far. Very solid cue.

I agree, but I have decided that I don't much care for the feel of a wrapless cue. I really like the way this cue looks, very simple.

Nice cue. What kind of wood is that? DDKoop has one too. im thinking about picking me up one but the last time I talked to Scott he said he was using mohogany and Im not to sure about that wood but I hear they play jam up. Does it hit stiff?

I would say that it hits stiff, but it's a subjective thing to describe. All I can say is that I like the hit a lot. As for the wood, I honestly don't know. Sure is perty though. The pics don't REALLY show the grain, it's very nice. I would recommend his cues.

I'm seriously considering ordering a Rambow-style sneaky pete with the lizard wrap that Scot advertises on the Proficient site.

I also love the Titlist conversions he has, but 19.5oz is just a bit too heavy for my tastes.

Hey Tarkus,

Let us know if you do it and how you like it. By the way, I still have some family left in New Rochelle. The entire Italian side of my family is from there originally, well not originally but close enough :-)
Does Bruzzese or Condello sound familiar?

Nope, sorry. I've only lived here for 5 months. I haven't shot in almost a month since I jacked my knee skiing and haven't been able to walk well, let alone bend over a pool table.

Next time you're coming down, shoot me a PM and we'll shoot a few racks.

Sucks about the knee but if I find myself heading down there I will definitely let you know.

Dave

P.S. You going Upstate for the Joss Finale?

That wood almost looks like a burl wood. You should post pics in the cuemakers section because I am very interested to know what it is. Really nice looking.

I just talked to Scot. "It is in the cocobolo family", but it is more brown than most coc. I have seen. He called it "a rosewood cocobolo"? It has some really nice figure. He said when he found this piece, he knew it was going to come out really pretty. It does kinda look like amb. burl though, doesn't it?

Peace
~DC---->very pleased with his new cue :D

Probably not. Don't get out to many events, though I probably should. My brother lives less than an hour from the Valley Forge Convention Center and I was debating going and crashing at his place, but that was the weekend I was in Vermont and wrecked my knee.

Damn, if I had gone to Valley Forge instead, my knee would be fine and I would still be shooting right now.

Those guys are good!

I really enjoy dealing with Scott and Matt. They are both so reliable and honest and do beautiful work. Scott is a perfectionist - a good thing in a cue-maker. They've done a lot of restorations for me and I've never been disappointed with their work.
