Six of the final 7 players left

Marlon Malano
Nick Varner

Francisco Bustamante
Johnny Archer

Manalo will face Mike.

Book it.

He will go 4-1 and only lose to Django although it wouldn't surprise me if he went undefeated

Ditto. Picking anyone but him at this point (15-0!!!) is almost sacrilegious.

Somehow, when there's a lot of money involved, Efren Reyes almost always manages to pull it off.

Mike Siegel and Efren Reyes in the finals!

Manalo and Busti are verryy hotttt.... but I have to agree... when the dust settles, it's gonna be Reyes..... it's a lotta money.... Reyes will not let it go away.....

it's still round robin right?

Yes, the final six players will play each other in the Round Robin Format.

The player with the best win-loss record will face Mike Sigel for the King of the Hill and $200,00 1st place prize

A tie will be broken by the GLI number

Immonen has been pretty impressive as well up to this point.

I haven't really been able to follow the matches, but I say never count little Nicky Varner out. He's a great straight pool player and great all around player. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the final.

Busta lost a bit of form in his second last match. Seems the long days wore him down a bit. He'll probably come back refreshed tomorrow.

Efren seemed to be getting the hang of the table better as he played more. I think he may be vulnerable in the early rounds tomorrow. If he wins his first couple, he'll be dangerous. But with his break looking a bit soft, he could get a match of dry breaks and sell out.

Marlon's break is working well...I think he is favorite.

Any of the 6 can take it an any given time.

Look at it this way: who would you bet *against*? Archer? Busta? Manalo? Reyes? Varner? Immonen? I'd be hard pressed to pick a single name from that field.

No knowledgeble person will bet against them.

What is the prize money breakdown after 1st and 2nd place? Down to these last 7 players? Thanks in advance, John.

I agree that Manalo looks like the favorite at this point, followed by Bustamante, Immonen, and Archer. Then there's Reyes, and we all know that he's capable of winning it.

I for one would love to see Varner make it though--wouldn't it be amazing to see Varner and Sigel back at the top of professional pool playing in the final for the biggest prize ever?

As one who's here watching !! :D :) !! , I'd have to say Manalo, who was gracious enough to tell me how his name is pronounced. :)

Sorry to interupt....
But if Last Two is reading this...delete some of your PMs so I can reply please. I didn't want to start a whole new thread....I can delete this later.

Isn't Efren undefeated in tournaments with prize money over 100k? He's at least 2-0, possibly 3-0. Manalo is hot...but I still think Reyes always finds a way to take home the big cheese.

However...i'm not counting Django out. Sure he hasn't won a "major" in pool, but he might just be saving his best stuff to dominate the IPT.

I'm gonna take a "dark horse"... I pick Archer to win the whole thing. What kind of odds are you guy's laying?

I like Efren or Archer. Mika and Busty can lose their focus ... Nick probably doesn't have the firepower ... Manalo, maybe, but he hasn't been there yet.
