I'm looking for a decent quality snooker cue but I don't know much about them. I can get a Dufferin for cheap but I don't know if there is a better cue for similair money. I don't feel like spending 600-800 for a John Parris.

Does anyone know anything about Schender,Craftsman, or Adams snooker cues? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dufferin does make a decent snooker cue. I've always used my normal playing cue when playing snooker. Never seen or got to play with any of the three other snooker cues you mentioned.

dufferin, i've used them, they work fine. i play snooker with my playing cue, but i don't play it more than once a week so i haven't bought a snooker cue.

Remember that Stephen Hendry won seven World Championships with a cue he bought in 1983 for 40 UK pounds. That's what I paid in 1987 for mine when I was in college, it is a very plain cue, but still plays very nicely.

They are not as expensive as pool cues, as you are not paying for inlays and ivory, at least in England.

The top cue maker in England, based on usage by the top players in the world, is Parris Cues :

Their cues start at US $400.

Now that I live in the States, of course I have a fancy ivory inlayed pool cue.

Tony.
