Springfield Cues CF shaft reviews?

What makes you so sure that is a Revo? I'm not seeing a logo. When i bought my cf shaft from them they offered me a choice in ferrule color and choice of tip. I chose a white ring on the ferrule and a Kamui clear tip. I'm thinking I could also have ordered as seen in the photo.

That guy has been on AZ all of a week. Not putting much stock in his story after I talked to Spr.Cues via email and got this same info. They went out of their way to answer all my questions as well. Seems like a well run outfit to me.

Hi Everyone, I am glad I seen this so I can nip it in the butt.. DeeShooter is not being honest, he had his cue sent directly from the seller/manufacture "champion" brand cues to us and we matched it to his butt. His cue arrived with warped butt, I told him this was the problem and he agreed after putting the original new shaft on it and check it. Then a few days later he started asking me to send him $100 as it wasn't the butt anymore. Then after a another week he then said tip fell off. I told him to return the shaft and we would fix it. He then wanted me to send him two tips out and he would have them put on there. I sent him out one tip. We guarantee all of our shafts and we work with our
customers to make sure they are always happy. This customer has an ulterior motive. I will gladly post our txt message conversation of what was said between us if needed.

If anyone wants a video before you buy one of these shafts please send me a request with an email or phone number and I will show you what his shaft and a Cuete shafts looks like on the same butt the one he said was warped!!!.....No lies or deception just truth....this product is not worth the $149 dollar you would save from buying a real carbon fiber shaft. If still you want to buy this product just request the video 1st and you make your own decisions from there.

Don't matter how long I been on this form the truth is the truth videos don't lie people do.....and what it seems like to you don't matter to me at all!!! Didn't say Doug Springfield was a bad person, just the product was crap and he lied about it by say my brand new butt was warped.....I know no one in my pool league will be buying this crap! But my brand new Cuetec rolls straight as a arrow on the same butt he said was warped. It's not good at all. Oh and I guess I'm lying about my tip falling off also. 1st stick I every had that the tip fell off within a week or so of using and was warped at purchase....That a quality run operation to you??!!! The only reason I am putting it on here is so people have a true rating of his product because on his site are fake 5 star reviews that lures customers into buying an inferior product. Yes, we will have an 11.8 pro taper in the 30", as to the revo, I haven't shot with one enough and especially not side by side to give you an answer. Most comparisons are just opinions and what works for you may not work for me. We didn't go for super light or any extremes for that matter. We wanted it to feel great when playing. It may not be for some people, however the cool thing about a small company is we can change methods for one shaft to help you find what you are looking for.

Finding the pivot point should be a point(pun intended) of order for any manufacturer of pool cue shafts. One thing I've noticed with carbon fiber shafts is that many CF shafts have SUPER HIGH squirt or cueball deflection.

I have one that has an 8" pivot point, it's basically unusable. I would never even consider buying another CF shaft without knowing it's pivot point. I've also noticed a couple of things since I design my own shafts as well. The blanks commonly available are higher deflection. I had made one using a blank with a straight taper (most people can't stand a straight taper all the way up the shaft) and it was SUPER low deflection. It may have been reduced mass due to the type of manufacturing process.

I know that many people may not care or may prefer a higher deflection shaft and not promoting its deflection characteristics could be beneficial from a marketing stand point, but considering how easy it is to find the pivot point on a shaft, I don't know why any manufacturer wouldn't do so.

Why didn't he post a video to start with? Show that the butt is straight and how bad the fit is. That would have given him at least some credibility. He makes a huge deal out of a tip coming off. That happens and its not an earth shattering issue. He also complains about warranty item shipping. I don't know anyone that covers that. The owner of Spring.Cues contacted me within an hour of me alerting him to this thread. He explained both to me directly and again here on AZ. Something doesn't pass the smell test about this whole deal.

You could have bought that shaft in the photo, but you would have been buying it from predator and not Springfield! Not zooming in on the photo and confirming what you are looking at is a MAJORMISCUE!

Reading way more into this than need to. I agree its kind of a bonehead move not checking the photo for logos.Btw the photos of the break shaft below that big pic show their logo. https://www.springfieldcues.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=52 I seriously doubt that Spr.Cues meant anything nefarious here. I've contacted them and they come across as straight-shooters imo. They answer faster and with more info than a lot of the more big name brands. For 250 bux i'll probably give one a shot as they offer Mezz Wavy and most others don't.

I find it hard to believe after contacting the maker. With nothing but a story the OP have doesn't much credibility in my book. Post pics/video and i'll gladly change my take on this. So far he's offered none. He seems to be more pissed about the tip and warranty shipping than anything else. something weird here. This shaft is not on Ebay either as of 5min ago.
