Stained glass table lamp

I want to do a stained glass table lamp for my billiard/game room. My grandfather taught me that art of stained glass about ten years ago. I love working with it and love the look of stained glass windows and lamps.

The lamps online are a lot of money and I didn't really like the designs. I also wanted something unique and handmade.

As some of you may know, I am doing an Irish Pub themed game room. I found a image of a stained glass lamp online that I liked some of the style of. I think I will base my design off this lamp with some changes to it's design.

I have a few questions:

My table is 4x8 feet. What size lamp should I make? What would be the best dimensions?

Also, I am interested in seeing other people's stained glass table lamps if you are willing to share photos.

(I'll be home in ten minutes and I will upload an image of the lamp I saw then)

Here is the basic lamp I liked.

I want the main color green with white accents instead of the white with green as in the image. So it'll be reversed actually.

The lettering will be a celtic style and I haven't decided between "Public House" for Pub or "Billiards" or what else I want it to say.

In stead of roses I want to come up with another design for the center. I thought of a rack with billiard balls but this might be too complicated.

Below is another Irish Pub idea. This is an actual window in an Irish Pub. The use of wavy glass for the strings looks great.
