Stolen Gilbert Titlist cue in one of these cities.

I sold a nice Titlist Andy Gilbert conversion cue on ebay last week.

I shipped the cue out June 8th via UPS.
The cue was shipped in 4" PVC tube with end caps.
The package could have fallen out of the truck at 45mph and not been broken.
I insured the parcel for $900 and required a sig. on delivery.
Well, June 14 the UPS driver tries to hand my buyer an empty tube with one of the end caps removed.
The end caps were even taped on.
Somone at UPS has very likely has my stolen my cue. (again)

OH NO ,THIS COULDN'T HAVE HAPEN AGAIN WITH UPS!! WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU NOW! SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS BUT THERE WAS A THREAD ON THIS MONTHS AGO AND PEOPLE CAN BITCH ALL THEY WANT ABOUT CERTAIN CARRIERS BUT IT HAPPENS ALOT WITH UPS! Wow. Sure sounds like inside theft Eddie. Its a shame but a sad fact. How could the driver even load the package onto his vehicle if package was empty and had no endcap? If you ship with FedEx and use the triangular shipping tube they provide at least your package will not stand out.

You'll get your money from UPS insurance carrier but you'll probably need to send them pricing references for that kind of cue. UPS lost a trim ring billet when package I shipped was cut open and it dropped out. It was a hassle but I did receive a check after sending them all sorts of pricing information (ultimately on new cues!).

Who's Honest Here

Did the gentleman on the other end sign for the package? If he did then he may be the one trying to scam, because if he signed then he would have realized that the package had been opened.
There are alot of people out there claiming not to have received packages. If U.P.S was confronted at the door with this package, you'll have no problem filing the claim, however, it sounds a litttle bit like the receiver is the culprit.
